Is it Fall? Is it still Summer? These days it’s hard to tell, but no one on our team is complaining.
We're out in all the weather Seattle has to offer, but we’re delighted to be working on the second story on our MERIDIAN project in the sunshine. We finished the roof a week ago. Last week we applied waterproof membranes and installed windows in the Kitchen, second story and den. Raphael cut back rafters and ceiling joists and framed in walls and gables, then installed breakfast nook doors and south end windows bringing in the light. The views from the new second floor are stunning.
At BURKE AVE, the front porch is in it’s final stage. The new white trim looks sharp. The cedar soffit board on the ceiling compliments the stone siding. The look is both rustic and inviting; a beautiful twist on the classic craftsman theme.
At 13th AVE WEST, the study and pantry are taking shape. HVAC channels were rerouted to the ideal locations. The custom desk Nathan built is elegant and practical. Bogdons tile work on the centerpiece hearth is snap-line perfection and really brings the room together. One can imagine cozy winter days to come basking in the fires glow.
